Put some of your stuff in drinking straws, a pack of instant coffee in the little packets. Home Depot has a set of boxes, may want to check those out.

Its good to have a small kit.
But my main kit is my truck.
My kit in my truck is for long term.
I tried to make my kit small but I think of things I need adds weight.
One thing that most kits do not have is extra cloths.
Snars are cheap , buy a dozen or more.
My fish kit has a Ronco fishing reel with a kit in the handle.
Tin kits will not last long.
Build a car or truck kit. If you got to walk with a large kit. Get a collasable wagon to put extra in.have a backpack with needed items if you got to leave everything else.
In any kit , I will have my 12 ga singleshot with ammo and adapters . Its mostly for survival more than difience.
If you got to bug out or in, have a kit that with make life better, what you do not need, use the rest to barter.
In all the kits have survival books including the Bible.

Brilliant that you want first up to know what other people have in their survival kits. Awesome video. I have paracetomol, and I buy cheap candles everywhere I see them, we now make our own cider, and collect firewood every week in the English forests. I need a whistle and one of those sparking firelighter things. And I also have tons of water sterilising tablets for collected rain. You can get them on Amazon quite cheap.Forget about petrol and the internet, this is about saving your family.
