Ultimate Survival Technologies – Base Kit 3.0

I got this kit for review from my friends over at Ultimate Survival Technologies. For a simple, pre-made, super-compact kit, this one does the job well. Not to mention if you want to make a bigger survival bag, you can take this guy and use its components in your own kit.

Interested in purchasing this kit? Using the link below will get you a great price and also help to support the Everyday Tactical Vids channel – thanks!

Well, I have seen most people use some kind of tape or some kind of bands on the out side, but the 5 cs are just the basics that I tried to use when making my kits. I have mini lights and some bandages for example. So you are not limited to just the 5 Cs, It's up to you if you want to put things on the outside. I would like to think how easy it would be to access in a pack or pocket. Good luck, it's going to be cool to see what you can come up with.

very cool idea. Here's one question – can the kit have things on the outside of the tin or only inside?

Awesome kit, thanks for showing. But now Tim, I have seen a lot of survival kits using Altoids tins. Here is a challenge for you. Can you make an Altoids survival kit thinking about the 5 Cs of survival. Cordage, Combustion, Cover, Cutting, and Container. I think Cover might not be possible but the other Cs can be doable. Good luck and looking forward to see what you come up with.
