It's sad you say the people restricting your natural rights to self defense are smarter than you. Long guns are capable of being much more deadly but they ban pistols? Don't sound to smart to me.

What is that parka you're wearing? I had used anoraks in the past but I like the pocket arrangement of yours a lot.

I do love the Mare's Leg rifle but , I'd put a full stock on it just to improve accuracy . I know you'll loose the compatibility factor but , if you only have 7 rounds in a tube fed mag , well ….. Great video and good shooting !

I have had my PAL for almost a year and still have not decided on a pack gun. I share your frustration with regard to Canadian laws. Absolutely rediculous. Our Country is wild to the Nth degree, and to have these really smart people make these rediculous decisions on our behalf without ever stepping foot in true wilderness is laughable! I appreciate your pistolless options though. Nice choices. They make my shortlist. Great vid.

good info. I have the Charter Arms version of the AR7 ( made 30 years ago) and it works just fine. other than total length why the mare's leg instead of carbine? that said I usually have a 1911 on my hip when I'm camping in remote places.

Nice but i would go with my 12 gauge double with 18 inch barrels breaks down into a small package and can be used for small game or big depending on the shells. but you can't carry as many rounds.
