Written survival instructions? If you need written instructions to use the tools to survive your probably already dead……..

There are many of components to survival.
One plan I discovered which successfully combines these is the Survivor Crusher System
(google it if you're interested) definately the most helpful survival website i've heard of.
Check out the incredible free video.

Actually, you can eliminate most of your EDC tools just by purchasing a swiss army swisschamp knife and 3/4's of your tools are basically covered…You'll just need the medical, firestarting and the fishing lines hooks and sinkers. It's also a lot less messier when you do need to use it.

Excellent kit mate, its interesting .people from different countries or who have had different experiences will add .modify, tweak for personal use, their own kits. Here is my two cents. Swap the sweets for mints, they are supposed to be good for indigestion.FOR GUARANTEED fire starting three narrow strips of rubber inner tube will always burn well even in light rain or wind. Finally a short length of triangular engineers file will be indispensable for cutting through fence wire…. and the list goes on tin foil … but before you know it your box becomes larger and larger.I would rather have too much than too little, but I am in no way criticizing your kit, good job.

Great kit but why 'SAS'? Have you permission to use the name? Are you a former or serving member of the Regiment? I'll be buying one, saves me a lot of effort making my own but I certainly won't be telling people it's the 'SAS' kit. :o)

Well done.  I like the look of that button compass.  I wish I had room in my tins for wire saws, they really are handy if all you have is a small blade.  I am a fan of the Oasis tabs, I need to pick some up to replace old tabs in my other kits.  Nice job

I enjoyed the video and the saw is nice too 😀
2:21 .F lens also in specific situations can aid in communications as well as the common  fire starting or first aid.
5:07 pre magnetize ( for compass making)
    Things to consider:
You could take pencil out and use burnt wood or solar to write with
Add a pencil sharper in so that you can make easy wood shavings
Adding a mylar blanket in ( so much more than just signalling or shelter.making)
the water purification tablets should have a suitable container to match the amount of water needed per tablet ..(32 ounces about 1L)

I like the survival instructions a lot, it's amazing how easily cold or heat/sunstroke messes with your concentration and a reminder of what you need to do could really make a difference. I would electrical tape needles, safety pins, razor blade, tin opener to inside lid as its amazing how easily small things get dropped/lost when you're under pressure or at night. Great stuff!!

The addition of aluminum foil would be great for being able to cook meat/fish also you could easily make a very small yet handy knife from a old file and pop that in the kit
Some sort of thermal blanket or even 1 of them throw away ponchos would be great just

Do a version that is TSA/School/Office friendly–NO knife or lighter !  I use and the UrbanPrepper  started with using an Altoids tin with green trim !  Any ideas ?  Keep up the good work.

Great kit but I would add a thin signal mirror, a mini flashlight, a little bit of tin foil & maybe a small thin packet of antibacterial ointment, oh yea and also a pack of hand sanitizing wipes if possible but its still a good kit :)
