Whoa! My brother. I have seen every video you've ever done and every one was valuable. But you can know that all you have done is very well seen in this video. You are so valuable to all of us, Dave, You truly are a gift from God. Thank you for everything, and praise God for sending you.

dont forget to prepar for reality, when you're preparing for the worst. you are 52 years old dave, it's very likely you'll never need your skills.

dont get me wrong, i like your videos, i think it's fun to do what you're doing. if it helps you when history repeats itself – that's good. but pressing keys all day is the way to go nowadays, it is way more productive than working with your hands.

besides, history doesn't always repeat itself. there is a constant (almost) straight line development in human society, we don't go in circles. we haven't been falling back to how our ancestors lived 2000 years ago.

Good thinking all in all, but Dave´s forgetting, that it´s not going to be only him hunting and trapping in rural areas, when the SHTF. We are almost eight billion folks on the planet, these days. Not half a billion like hundred years ago. How long´s it going to take until there´s no food left around, if you are living in a small city with maybe a couple of thousand "Daves"? We sure would need to organize ourselves as a group and start pulling on one side of the rope. Anyway, hope for the best, prepare for the worst! ;)

Great advice been following Dave since he started making vids a lot to be learned if your not the stubborn type and willing to learn when the time comes and your out there doing the things we do being an avid trapper hunter etc myself your gonna be doomed take my word for it..don't knock it until you try it then and only then will you understand how important this stuff really is.. Up most respect for Dave he really does know his stuff.. Dave would be great for you to come to Kansas and educate more people over here… I teach survival myself and I'm always learning on a daily basis but at the end of the day I know my family will be fine … WILL YOURS FOLKS…

A fountain of knowledge of biblical proportions! I am stunned and feel very happy I am in the same path for about a year now (It 's never too late). Knowledge in general, and particularly knowledge of the natural and scientific world, is the key, knowledge gives you skills, understanding, realization and firm will in the long run to progress in a sustainable way.

I like how he gave meaning to survival. After all if there's not meaning to life, what's the point of survival? "You owe it to yourself, you owe it to your family, and you owe it to God."
