How to Prepare for an Emergency: Emergency Preparedness September is National Preparedness Month. Are you or your business ready for any disaster or emergency it might face? Do you have an emergency preparedness checklist? Do you have emergency response procedures?

Whether due to computer viruses, fires, mass casualties, biological and chemical threats, radiation emergencies, terrorist attacks, earthquakes, tornados or other natural disasters, you could be at risk. However, practical emergency preparation enables you to successfully navigate your business when the unexpected occurs. For example, you may have external hard drives for your computers, but what happens if there is a fire? Do you have a cloud or offsite backup plan as well? Do you have an emergency response kit for all of your employees?
