Agility is also committed to using its expertise in challenging environments to assist the humanitarian community with international disaster response operations. Through Agility’s Humanitarian and Emergency Logistics Program (HELP), the company has responded to emergencies in Indonesia, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Lebanon, Pakistan and most recently Chile and Haiti.

Agility is also a foundational member of the Logistics Emergency Teams (LETs initiative) launched at the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting 2008 where private sector companies deploy rapid response teams to assist the humanitarian community in managing the relief supply chain. The first LETs teams were deployed in May 2008 in response to Cyclone Nargis in Myanmar where Agility helped manage humanitarian freight movements that were distributed amongst 1.5 million beneficiaries.
